Starting with woodblock.

So my idea for my first woodblock is a dream catcher. I want it to be my main print image because I want to combine it with my other print I plan to create. I want to show the dream catcher to give the illusion of it drawing in the different dreams. So here is my own dream catcher that I am basing some of my design on.

Back to my dream project after progress review.

So we are back and we're learning new techniques again. Sercan was showing us how to silkscreen onto our woodblocks if we had a photograph and if we weren't drawing free hand. Noelle was showing us how to silkscreen onto an etching plate with ink and sugar lift. She also showed us how to out aqua tint on our plates for a tonal range as well as having our basic linear etch. We will be starting these process' soon.
